Welcome to Bunkers Hill Farm

Set in 10 private acres, we are a luxury self-catering holiday destination which includes cottages, shepherds huts, yurts, and a CL campsite. Perfect for couples or small families, seeking a relaxed, quiet and picturesque getaway in the Suffolk countryside. Our stylish barn conversions The Stables (sleeps 4) and The Byre (sleeps 2) will be your home from home during your stay, both characterful properties feature vaulted ceilings, a cosy woodburner for cooler nights and a patio area with seating for summer evenings. Guests also have access to our tennis courts and dogs are welcome. Our Shepherds Huts, aptly named after our local wildlife, Woodpecker, Robin and Kingfisher offer a back to nature escape. Beautifully finished and set in their own private meadow with fire circle, benches and access to our outdoor cooking facilities and toilets, these make the perfect break for a group of extended family members - accommodating 7 people in total. For a truly special camping experience, book one of our spacious yurts - Lapwing & Swallow, complete with double bed, woodburner, decking area and furniture, these make a wonderful romantic getaway - watch the sunset from your decking and gaze at the stars together.

We are located in a rural spot, just 1 mile from the village of Bramfield where you can find an excellent, independently owned Village Pub - The Queens Head, with a beautifully kept beer garden, which serves local ales and great food. Just up the road is Clarke's Farm Shop with onsite butchery selling lots of local produce - perfect for a BBQ back at your accommodation. The white-walled thatched church of St Andrew's is another point of interest and there is a great walk to explore across 'Castle Meadow', A few miles inland and you will find our nearest market town of Halesworth which boasts a beautiful town park with play areas and walks along the River Blyth to Millennium Green - the largest in the country. Halesworth also has an excellent selection of independent shops, eateries, delis, pubs, butchers, greengrocers, supermarket plus a lively Wednesday market. Head out towards the coast and you will find the upmarket seaside town of Southwold, famous for its coloured beach huts, award-winning beach, Pier, harbour, fish and chips and of course the home of our local brewery - Adnam's. If you prefer a coastal village, then visit the much smaller Walberswick with its dune filled beach, crabbing bridge, village green and small selection of cafes and country pubs or Dunwich, with its pebbly beach and fascinating history, viewable at Dunwich Museum. Other Suffolk highlights include bird watching at nearby RSPB Minsmere, country walks and cycles, picturesque towns and villages and award-winning beaches.
